Traumatic brain injury, better known as TBI, can occur when a traumatic impact damages the brain. TBIs in sports and recreational activities are a health concern, resulting in headaches, confusion, lightheadedness, and dizziness. These symptoms can last anywhere from a few hours to a few months.
